40 Years of Florida Screen Experience, One Family
Todd Weir is a Brandon original. He grew up here when the roads were still dirt and the land was dairy farms, citrus groves, and tomato fields; he graduated from East Bay High and started in the trade as a teenager building swimming pools. He moved into screen work as a young man, spent several years as a merchant mariner traveling the world on oil tankers and cargo ships, then came back to his roots doing what he knows best: building screen enclosures that let Florida families enjoy the outdoors without the bugs, sun, and weather.
Todd founded Lanai Guy in 2014 with his wife, Tammy, who moved to Brandon in 1998 and brought a business and computer background to the company she has built alongside him. Tammy is the voice on the other end of the line; she answers every call herself, and Todd runs every estimate and supervises every build. Their everyday crew, Zach, Mike, Jason, Wilson, and Mike R., has been rescreening lanais, building screen rooms, and rebuilding storm-damaged pool cages across East Hillsborough for years.

Not every rescreen crew in Tampa Bay holds a contractor’s license. If something goes wrong, or the work fails inspection, you have no recourse. A licensed contractor is accountable to the state, not just to a phone number.
